Robert Stone has managed,produced, arranged, composed, and recorded numerous groups and artists since 1981. Robert's first venture into the music biz was managing a South Florida act called Blic. "They were an amazing group of young musicians and definitely the hottest act in Martin and Palm Beach County. They we're performing Jethro Tull, Zeppelin, and Pink Floyd and had a great following. I took them into the studio to record on a Teac 4 track machine and actually got them on the radio in Jupiter, Fla. A lot of fun!" Robert started the music magazine Dance Issue in Miami in 1986 which went on to have regional success in NY and Miami. "We grew too fast, but I learned so much about the record business". In 1989 after re-locating to NY, Robert began writing dance and R&B music in addition to pop rock. "I spent thousands upon thousands of dollars trying to create something that sounded good and that would sell. It's like a college education that doesn't ever end. I'm still learning what works and what doesn't." In 1998 Robert moved to Las Vegas and then eventually to LA. "Los Angeles is where I became interested in country music of all things. "That's from all the time I spent stuck in my car on the freeway in LA." In 2002 Robert moved to Nashville where he wrote numerous songs for his increasingly growing catalog called Manik Tree Songs. "I love Nashville and it's vibrant music scene. I met someone everyday in the biz. What a great town for songwriter's!" In 2006 Robert moved back to New York City to work on an off-off Broadway project called Bigger Fish To Fry. This would evolve into the developmental show Rock On! which is now being showcased in NYC and being developed for off-Broadway!
